It's bad but all things considered it could have been worse. God was watching over Tony.

One of our former British champions, Robert Dickie, has died of a heart attack. Dickie won the British featherweight title made vacant by Barry McGuigan in 1986. He secured a Lonsdale Belt outright by successfully defending the title twice but his career flagged after that. Nevertheless, Robert was a strong fighter, and a brave fighter, and his death is terrible news. He was seen over the weekend by a poster who said that Robert had clearly "had a few" but looked well and in good nick. It just goes to show you never can tell. Dickie was 46.

That's good news Frank. :TU: Tony is tough and will handle what ever needs to be done. How is Connie? I'm sure the both of you had a rough night. Rest easy today my friend.

I posted a brief notice on my site. I'm sure Tony's fans will want to know how he's doing.

Our prayers to you and your family.

Frank glad to hear Tony is doing ok, I remember the first time I ever heard of Tony ''The Tiger'' it was late 1982 I think, and Ko magazine I think it was had a piece profiling the biggest punchers in each division and Tony headed the list in the Lightweight division, at that point I had never seen Tony fight, when I got to see him fight a few months after I read the article vs Howard Davis I saw for myself that the people who wrote that article knew what they were talking about as he kept knocking Howard down with the left hook, God bless Tony Baltazar, you're fan for life Paul Zappulla.

Thanks Chuck, doctors are keeping a close eye on him because his heart rate is too high, and they don't know why....
