'Afterwards Carroll, 22, who said he was beginning his training regime today said: “I would have killed him. I felt a couple of digs but not much, on the night I will give as much as I get.'

In the unlikely event he gets killed in the ring... I will actually laugh. What total and utter scum.

He used to come in the pub a helluva lot, always with right dirty looking birds. Got to say he is one of my sporting heroes. Top driver, but also a great personality. A character like him would be worth his weight in gold in the tedious world that is Formula One world today. Often looked like he'd taken a bit more than a pint of Youngs Bitter, but often bought all the bar staff a beer. Even though he told me to fornicate for calling his dog an alsatian I had to laugh because his face was dead pan and he reacted by slashing against a wall.

Whenever he crashed he used to lamp his rivals. Remember Hunt the Shunt spinning off once and lamping the marshall.

The Chav will get kicked out of the fight - I'll put money on it now.

He's bound to drop the nut or lift the knee when he feels a bit of power.

What a fornicating tool. Gets a bit of money and thinks he's some sort of gangster! Bet all his hard-case mates, who only hang round with him cos he's minted, bullied him at school! Any one read the story where the screws at his nick said he used to cry himself to sleep everynight?

I'm not surprised, those jokes were fornicating awful. In fact, they weren't even jokes, they were just stupid platitudes.

As for the fight, I can't wait for that wanker to be crushed into oblivion by Roido.

Carroll not training massively hard.

I really, really hope his face gets turned inside out. The worry I have is that the other bloke will hit too hard and he won't get a sustained beating.

I hope Michael Carrol wins.

Unlike most of you, I'm not jealous of the lad, I don't automatically believe what the tabloids say and I don't begrudge him having a laugh with his money.

He's got guts for being prepared to step in there with Rhino. All the best to him.

jealous you gotta be joking?

I have no problem with him enjoying his money but i do if its done at the expense of other peoples happiness. Dont care if he smokes dope or takes charlie couldnt give a toss, That doesnt make him a bad person but the way he carries on is not going to get him much sympathy.

you can start by not being pictured with your middle finger extended everytime you are seen. Yeah it maybe be to the press but its giving them ammunition isnt it?

The blokes antisocial behaviour is the problem, dont be so daft

its got nothing to do with money its to do with respect for others and being a decent human being.

If the press were on my doorstep, with their cameras, taking pictures to put alongside sensationalised stories about me; for the gullible public to soak up and then abuse me about - when they don't even know me - I'd not be too welcoming towards them either.

He's taken this fight for charity, yet all I've heard is a load of spiteful bastards giving him grief.

I doubt he's a 'model citizen', but every person who's told the press anything about him has been paid. That includes the neighbours he is alleged to have "terrorised".

well then you are giving the press exaclty what they want then mate arent you. Im not arguing that the tabloid press arent scum we know they are.

So then its a viscious circle, whatever you obviously know the bloke and good luck to him he is gonna need it if one tenth of what is in that article is true come june 4th.

I do suggest however that someone who has been summoned to court as many times as he has is not whiter than white neither (and Im not saying I have in my life either before I get accused of judging anyone) but the phrase "made your bed so you lie in it" springs to mind.

as for being bitter or spiteful no mate, i couldnt give a fornicate if i never heard of him again.

no skin of my nose either way.

I don't know him. That's my point. As far as I'm concerned, he's a young lad who's won the lottery. He's taken a fight for charity and for that I give him some respect. I won't allow my opinions of people to be formed by tabloid newspapers and similar media formats. That's it really. :)
