Re: ratings
... because his opponent Patrick Berger had less than 25% of his rating - and so Nenad Borovcanin couldn't get any additional points for his win.balkan promotion wrote:Hi,friends,

Might be a bit complicated ... in detailbalkan promotion wrote:What is formula for new points?
http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/BoxRe ... escription
But, a bit simplified ... if the winner was higher than 50 points before the bout:
For a KO, TKO or clear win on points over 12 rounds
- the winner gets no additional points, if the loser had less than 25% of his rating before the bout
- the winner gets 11% additional points, if the loser had 50% of his rating before the bout
- the winner gets 33% additional points, if the loser had the same rating before the bout
- the winner gets 55% additional points, if the loser had 150% of his rating before the bout
- the winner gets 77% additional points, if the loser had 200% of his rating before the bout
The winner gets less additional points for a closer decision and less rounds boxed.

Re: ratings
Get Nenad Borovcanin fighting boxers listed in the top 100 on Boxrec and you see him move up quickly. 27 fights into his career, I don't think that's much to ask.
