Why are you supporting Audley?

Post by oliverfennell »

The formerly much-maligned Audley Harrison is generating an unexpectedly high level of support from fans ahead of his fight with David Haye. Are you among those who'll be rooting for him? If so, why?

Tick as many boxes as appropriate.

I'm not rooting for him, he's a myth. I want and 100% expect Haye to win and take on the Klitschkos.

'Rooting for him' is a bit strong in my particular case. I've got loads of time for Haye, professionally, too.

I do respect what Audley's done but above that (juvenile I know) I just find all this 'YES HE CAN' stuff hilarious.

He said 'Yes, I can!' this morning on Talk Sport and I almost crashed the car laughing. Dunno why.

I can't wait the see if a ''yes you can'' chant goes out arround the stadium on his ring walk.

It's gotta be his ''indefatigabile'' persseverance as Georgeous George would say

Ha, ha - Imagine Galloway saying to Audley: 'I admire your strength...your courage...your indefatigability'

I am not supporting him, just getting a bit tired of Haye doing lots of talking and not much action. I expect Haye to win and then hope he finally signs up against Wlad &or Vitali. I still love Haye, but need to see more from him to back up his claims.

I think because Haye has come across, to me anyway, as an even bigger knob than Audley and that's saying somehthing.
It's catch 22 though because if Audley did win, I couldn't then bare the arse gravy that would spew from Audley's mouth thereafter :DD

This is one of the extremely few fights where I'm not too fussed who wins, as I'm a fan of both.

If Our Deron wins then the Haye-Train marches on to planet Klitschko........ but I've always had a soft spot for Our Audley and it'd be great to see him win a World title after his turbulent career (and the years I've spent on forums defending him)

....... so i'm just gonna sit back, skin up and enjoy the show :OhYes:

I would support Audley but its important for my happiness that Vlad gets the chance to give Haye 'pizza face' so I am not rooting for him

I'm not supporting him, but I would absolutely love if a cabby from Ireland who apparently put on the gloves for the first time aged 28 in 2000 following Audley's Olympic success thinking he could do better, could actually win the world title.

I think if Audley won, the fight would happen and I think Rogan could win again.
