Why is Big Larry leaving Frank Maloney??

I Like BIG MacDermot, he gets some undue stick on here because of his appearance, but he gives 100% and is MEGA unlucky not to have a win over Tyuson Fury on his resume (whoever said they've seen no evidence of BIG John training needs to wind their neck in........ or watch some of his fights)

IMO he's the only British HW title gatekeeper around at the mo and he should be in for some cracking fights in the not too distant future going by the rafts of British HW's coming through.

I thought I heard that BIG John was fighting MASSIVE Larry, but it's not on the Boxrec schedule, did I dream this fight was happening?

No idea mate. I heard a rumour it was on that card - that could be complete rubbish. But as far as I am aware the fight is on.

FW won the purse bids for the fight.

It was mooted for the Liverpool card but wasn't listed on the running order. The fight was mentioned but never confirmed. The odd thing was that the rumour was substantiated by someone in the know, inadvertantly on here.

I think that's where the whole rumour of Larry jumping ship has come from.

That is how I read it, but I think it's easy to jump to that conclusion.

If he is about to jump ship then you can bet your arse that FW will have gagged him the same way that others appear to have been with regards to upcoming fights and details etc.

I suppose my point is that any uncertainty over Olubamiwo's promotional status is, to me at least, made less uncertain by the non-committal responses emerging from the (war)horse's mouth. All rather 'known knowns and unknown knowns' a la Cheyney, but you know what I mean. I'm fairly positive he's with the Herts Mafia.

How Valuev hasn't been used in a Jaws (James Bond) role I don't know. I guess he doesn't need the money.

I reckon the Klit bro's have potential as Bond baddies.

If I recall Roger Moore said he had to quit the role because he was so old they ran out of actors who looked like they could be knocked down by him.

He must be kicking himself he left before Audley Harrison came on the scene.

Still, the Klitschkos would be good for the time they decide the all action special effects are a thing of the past and what the public want to see is a final fight with the bad guy lasting 40 minutes in which Bond is gradually jabbed into submission.
