Khan/Kindelan: Final thoughts & betting

I've never dealt with sporting bet, but they seem the only bookies offering the Kindelan win at over 1/2 - 4/7 in fact. Most others are 4/9 (including Ladbrokes) or 2/5. Victor Chandler, Stanley and betfair all offer 2/1 for Khan. Victor Chandler the only one going for the 'world's worst bet' award on this - Evens the draw. ???WTF??? What a dreadful bet.

As far as the fight itself is concerned, I don't know what Khan has done since the olympics to better his fight performance to the extent he can beat Kindelan, who doesn't seem to be shoing any signs of slowing down.

Khan will obviously be more physically mature but he hasnt really been busy enough to have improved enough to beat Kindelan, I'll be very surprised if he wins. Kindelan won the olympic final with loads to spare I thought.

The only way that Khan will win this if the judges give it to him for sentiment over sense. Unfortunately this happens too much in boxing.

I went with Stan James at 1/2 on Kindelan to win, a 50% return seemed a decent investment considering the high probability of the same result as last time.

Actually it was 8/15 I got on Kindelan a few days back, now they've cut that to 4/11 which is probably more realistic. Took a bit of action while I was at it on Danny Williams at 11/8 to beat Matt Skelton - that's crazy odds, I mean why on earth is Skelton favourite to win that fight?

I think Khan has a fair chance to score an upset. He must be very motivated for this fight. Everybody will be cheering for him (including the judges???) and he gave Kindelan a fairly hard bout last time out, even if he wasn't close at winning.
If Kindelan is at 90% or more of his capacity he won't have any trouble though. He has too many tools for Amir. The thing is Kindelan was expected to fight a couple of times in Cuba but withdrew because of "lack of preparation", so how much has he actually trained?

the show starts at 9:30 on ITV, so im guessing the fight will be about 10? im not sure though with amerture fights. the show finishes at 10:30.

They're showing highlights of Sicknote v Veit aswell apparently. Khan's fight will probably be on pretty soon after it starts.

Right i have went big on Kindelan ( well a few grand its a lot to a student) should i be worried, why on earth would warren want his golden goose to get beat before going pro? how good would it be foe him to beat Kindealn think of the selling power, is there something we dnt know???

Corrupt judging is a possibility which is why I didn't put any money on this fight.

ITV are going ridiculously over the top with this. Uncle Frank at a London west end nightclub. "stars" getting interviewed at ringside, currently asking a rower if Khan will be getting personal against Kindelin, now asking a cricketer. What a crock of pish

Jimbo and Ricky in the dicky bow rubbish with those stupid wee face microphone things on.... over an hour of this tonight... what a waste. God forbid they chould have dug out some boxing for us to watch.

khan did look alot better than he has done before, but i dont think kindelin fought as well as he did at the olympics, not near as good!!

It did look like it. He didn't seem to try that hard. Very suspicious....
