Frankie just stated Khans first pro fight will be on the undercard of Skelton v Williams on the undercard in July.

No opponent named as yet...

Do you think Khan had signed pro terms before the fight so had one of those amateur fights he is allocated as a pro?

I will alledge that the deal has been signed some time ago and this is why no announcement has been declared on the TV deal for Skelton vs Williams.

Definitely alledgedly. No reaction from Khan whatsoever when Warren announced it. Really, if you were 18, had just beaten best lb for lb amateur in the world, and were now told for the first time you were being signed up by the countries leading promoter, with your debut on a major card in 2 months time, I think I'd show a little more reaction if I didn't know about it

Is it possible though Chopping, that just had some sort of pre-this fight signature that he will sign with FW after this fight and not actually signed an official pro contract before the fight?

Incidently, I told my father when Rosenthal announced Warren was in a party "I bet you he's already signed Amir and that why he is celebrating"

I think if Khan performs well in producing the highlight reels required for a SN/Sky prospect, then he could be looking at a WBO shot within a couple years.

Warren will match them as long as it doesn't lose him a cash cow. Hatto=Cash Cow - Witter=Unknown, Warren would have let Witter fight Hatton if Witter was also a cash cow and he had both under contract. Theres no point losing your meal ticket if the other fighter won't pay your bills.

Why would he do that? Warren is his manager and promoter. Sending him to the states he gets a managers fee for his fights, fighting over here on big cards he makes shitloads as a promoter on top of that.

There's no way he'll encourage him to go over there.
