Totally agree.
We are fight fans and wanna see fights. It shouldnt matter a toss what a fighter has done. If he's not in prison then he should be able to fight.
Its hardly surprising that a number of fighters get involved in violence outside of the ring. Regardless of the rhetoric, at the end of the day Boxing is a brutal sport that requires a particular mindset from its participants.
Dont expect boxers to be angels because its not what they are trained to do.
He beat up his Mrs. Does him being a wife beater not bother you?
To be honest, It doesnt mate.
I dont know any of the circumstances behind the offence and im not interested in judging him as anything other than a boxer.
Domestic violence offences are particularly unsavoury, that I know. But put simply, Chisora is a boxer and i want to see him fight. He will have to deal with the sentence he is going to be given by the Court and when he has completed that he should, and quite rightly too, be allowed to get on with his life.
You're perfectly entitled to judge him as a person in light of the offences he's committed. I choose not to and dont think that it should prevent him from earning a living as a boxer, so long as he is able to. Of course if he worked in a refuge for victims of domestic violence then I would find it wholly inappopriate for him to be employed in that line of work.
