That would be a great match up, Iceman, it would certainly be a sensational main event, and the cost to put it on would leave good coin to put on a good, well matched undercard.
Any way I digress, I reckon, at middle weight, Junior by decision.

Medley if he is on his ball game, when he lets the combinations go he is great, but unfortunatley for me he fights in spurts, Medley recently called out Junior, but dont know what the outcome was...

Medley is headlining from a Presser released a couple of weeks back for a commonwealth title. So Martin Lindsay at middle or Craig Watson at LT Middle.

I'm guessing it's another Grange collaboration, so it will be a lot of there stable, Ie,Pittman,Medley,Ganoy,Jnr and maybe a couple other Gyms will get a few of there stars in.

I think the presser said quite a few Commonwealth titles will be on the line.

That's a great idea. Bringing a bit more relevance to the Titles outside of the UK has to be a good thing.

It needs it, years a go you still got a great deal of credit for winning a Commonwealth strap, now it's all the UK with the occasional import from Ghana or some other poor African country who have never known what a decent paycheck is like.

If the number 1 ranked fighters in the commonwealth actually fought each other instead of regional titles it would be special. Imagine the matchups.

Great post 'Dawg, salient. This is how world title opponents where once decided. it would help boxing greatly if the best of each country, state, county etc. fought each other, the biggest fear in boxing today (and in the history of competitive sport) is failure. The idea of taking on an over the odds champion, just for the challenge and desire to prove something too ones self, or taking on all worthy challengers to cement ones position has gone by the way side to a great extent, driven by the unrealistic desire for undefeated champions.
Hats off to all those Aussie boxers taking a risk on their opponents, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Better to earn ones place on the rankings list, earn 'real' title challenges, earn public acclaim and respect than try and falsify it, as your only cheating yourself, watering down your success and seriously hurting the sport that your trying to make a name off and be a champion of.
Forget what every one else thinks, true champions like Manny Pacquiao, Winky Wright et. all. won't care the least.
