Totally agree with you JBacca :box:
I'm sure if the money was right he'd do it. Why should he take any old offer to fight decent operators? Not saying I know what he has actually been offered, but I know what FW can be like when he offers people paltry amounts and then calls them a ducker.
From what I've gathered, McIntosh has been offered a career best payday. This, and the fact he's openly ragged Bomber saying he'd beat him, should surely make a fight?

But we only know one version of the events - Tony's.

More than the Cleverly bout? I do doubt that.

I don`t see how people can question his courage - especially after he fought Cleverly, and the performance he put in.
To have got up each time from the knockdowns is enough to prove his courage without doubt.

Maybe he sees more financial and career developing oppurtunities elsewhere?

You remember when he got chinned by a massive shot and looked unconscious, then did that mad flip? I'll never forget that.

The punches Cleverley caught him with wasnt ko punches, alot was to do with getting caught off balance etc,yes he got up everytime...he lost fair&square&was gracious in defeat... But he should man up&fight Bomber giving it the big un to any f**ker who will listen...
For me after Bellews last performance this is a 50/50 fight, but he wont take it(Mcintosh i mean)

we know he's your mate .... But, come on fella. You sound just a tad bias...

The Ajisafe fight kinda raised more than a few question marks about Tonys punch/skills/chin.

bellew boxed bad that night no doubt, but name me a fighter who hasnt had a bad night in his career,

cleverly in his exact same fight as bellew was put down by joe vegas and won the fight by 1 point, on the judges score card, he was nearly out on his feet and vegas more than deserved a draw, i was at the fight.

so what am trying to say is any one can have a bad day at the office, bellew fought a fighter who was awkward and a southpaw, he was standing square on and got caught with his hands by his side he wasnt hurt 1 bit, and 2 seconds later hit ajisafe with a shot that shook him to his boots, it was a flash knockdown through lack of concentration nothing to do with his chin.

bellew in his career has never been down, including amateur pro and sparring with the exception of ajisafe, and bare in mind he has fought as a heavy weight and spars regular with heavys now when he is only 12 and a half stone

Thing is. Tony Bellew is being built up by people on here as a Julian Jackson type puncher, Ray Leonard type skills and Oliver McCall chin ...

I totally agree, he does look to be going places. But what fWank Waren prospect doesn't early in their career?

And yes, every guy has an off night. But the truly exceptional ones tend to have theirs at a higher level ..

Guys it's simple, Danny McIntosh does not wanna fight me!! He even got the purse he asked for from my team as long as he wins!! I should have known better when he said he didn't wanna fight me after his career best win over Oakey!! Im not gonna harp on about him, He needs to man up simple as that..

As for me, Like I have said I have shown nothing yet, I boxed terrible against Ajisafe but let me tell you this I still won clearly in my eyes and as for the knockdown, This is what happens when you get caught square, It's boxing.. Ajisafe is a very tricky customer and unless you wipe him out early he'll give anyone fits!! I learnt from the the fight and that's the most important thing to me..

Come December 11th I'll be turning up to do a job and not thinking about a knockout... :TU:

P.s My name should not even be being mentioned with the likes of Jackson,SRL or McCall.. :shame:

I remember covering a show in Piccadilly, London and it was the first time I'd seen Danny fight, think it was around his fifth fight. Home fighter was Joey Vegas, and with both fighters undefeated somebodies '0' had to go. McIntosh (with Dom Ingle in the corner) totally outboxed him and talked Vegas through most of the punches as he was throwing them. Cocky yes, but an enjoyable fighter to watch.

Exactly right! And when Vegas threw something, Danny wasn't shy in pointing out where he was going wrong either
