Boxing back in Southampton

As there seems to be little or no information on this on the web I thought I would inform people that there's boxing at Southampton's Oceana nightclub on Sunday 21st November.

Tickets are £30 and there's going to be 11 fights. Not sure exactly who will be on the card but expect to see Alex Dilmaghani, Matty Tew, Mark Coombes, Daryl Still, Jonathan Fry, Jon Fernandes, Mark Atkins and Shane Watson.

Great bargain for 11 fights on a boring Sunday afternoon

Any other news on the card would be much appreciated

Inbreds? you better stay where you are then! Why do people from Portsmouth always have to ruin good conversation by mentioning the rivaly that they couldn't live without? I'm a Southampton fan and enjoy a bit of banter between the us and the blue few but when it comes to boxing I couldn't care where they come from as long as their fights are entertaining and are good pro's.

I just don't get that when people from Portsmouth are at an event in Southampton they have to make a sing and dance about it. If I behaved in Portsmouth like people from Portsmouth do in Southampton I would get hammered (in fact as a 10 year old I dared to wear a saints shirt in Portsmouth and got chased all around the town by grown men for the trouble).

Bill, I may go but my gym has an MMA show there the weekend after. IMO £30 is a bit high for the quality of the card. Will see. Rumour has it the profits from this show go to help your team pay for their wages.

went to an mma event at the oceana not long ago as mate was fighting and was pretty decent, no seat tho, just stood at bar and enjoyed

Anyone know when this is starting? Got a 21st birthday to go to in Bristol on the Sunday (instead of Saturday as bloody previously put on calender) so want to know if I can fessibly make it back for boxing and beers with the lads.
