I suppose it would depend what happens after Wlad has demolished Dereck next month. A long painful beating ruined Jeff Lacey and wouldn't be suprised to see this happen to Chisora. If Ola fought that Chisora he'd have a chance.

Before his last fight Ola said heavyweights are too big for him, but he enjoys sparing with them. When did he say he would fight at heavyweight?

Afolabi gave the best CW in the world a tough fight and had him in serious trouble at one point. I think he could do well against Chisora, who imo is worse than Huck. Let's not forget that Chisora's size advantage is a product of his fat, he would be the shorter man by 2 inches, and he doesn't have the longest reach either. I assume most people that pick Chisora would do so simply because he is bigger, he hasn't really proven himself outside the fights with Sexton, which were very competititve.

Hmmm, I think that a slimmed down Chisora would still be the physically more imposing fighter, though I agree that the difference would not be as massive as all that. I'd probably pick Chisora by late stoppage at this point, unless Ola was clever enough to jab and keep out of the way for 12 rounds...

no way could derrick stop ola, ola has a cast iron chin and great defence, big punches like erick fields, ezo, and marco huck couldnt put a dent in his chin.I think ola outboxes derrick to win on points

I'm sure I saw a different fight to most, but after 3 viewings I don't see Sexton vs Chisora 2 as that competitive. Sexton tried his heart out and made a fight of it sure, but Chisora for me controlled most of the action, won most, if not quite all, of the rounds and I thought there was only 1 winner after 3 minutes.

I was stunned to see the BBC reported had Sexton up at the time of the stoppage. I really am flummouxed at his score card.

I thought Murat vs Cleverly was far more competitive, and that was a tad one sided also.

Chisoria would win on points, imo. Afolabi is very good defensively. I don't see him getting knocked out. However, Chisora will be busier and Ola will be too lazy.

Generally agree Asterix, would be a good test for Derrick though. Ola reminds me of Jonathon Banks in someways. I feel he could make Light Heavy looking at his conditioning at Cruiserweight.

Chisora would beat him easily, Afolabi doesn't have the workrate or power to keep Chisora off! I think Chisora could force a mid to late stoppage

Nah, don't buy that his chin is that good - remember that Chisora is circa 50lb north of anything he has been hit by before now and that will have an attritional effect.

He regularily spars with Wlad and Vitali, says Kessler was the hardest sparing partner he's ever faced

:TU:

Afolabi is no mug. If anyone says he would be knocked out they should have a very good reason for saying so. His defence is very good. His weakness is his offence.
