great match up on the mag7 show how does everyone see it going,i think selkirk is one of the best kept secrets in british boxing had alot of hand injuries but they seem behind him now, i fancy him to stop o'meara late on if not he will win wide on points

Don't think I've seen Selkirk so can't really say anything about him but the times I've seen O'Meara he looks like a sound boxer with good skills but don't have much power so from that I can only see O'Meara win on points if at all.

What type of boxer is Selkirk?

Liverpool's best prospect in my opinion

So much talent. He'll be knocking on championship doors in 2011

i have watched selkirk for years as an am, and have seen him countless times in the gym as a pro, the kid is a FREAK!

he is so under rated, in terms of people not mentioning him when they talk about good prospects. he hits ridiculously hard and has every shot in the book, he has great amateur experience and has takin to the pro game like a duck to water, a while back he had a set back with a hand injury but that is all behind him now and he is only going to get better and better every fight,

my prediction this week is a k.o, selkirk has power in both hands, and i believe after a few of rounds his power will catch up with omeare

for those who havnt seen joe fight before keep an eye out for him im sure yous will be very impressed :TU:

Never seen Selkirk box, but from some of these posts he sounds tasty.

I'd still be suprised if he could stop O'Meara, who is tough. Hard to make a prediction without even seeing one of the boxers, but I'll go with O'Meara.

If you were at the March echo show and stayed after the main event you would have seen what selkirk can do was an amazing ko

The guy has flown under the radar but i think he will be getting the fast track treatment soon enough

tough fight for both :!: can only see selkirk losing if he get's a severe hand problem, but would probably come through it like swifty unless both hand's go :o

o'meara is a decent fighter but i think abit of an over achiever ability wise, he'll make it intresting.

Really great match up this! I hope the hand injury is gone now, I see Selkirk winning by stoppage and shocking a few people by his performance, he's a talent!

Heard lots of good things about Selkirk but the only time I have actually seen him was against Brett Flournoy in the ABA final and from what Iremember he really struggled to land and was a bit outsmarted.
That was a long time ago and hopefully he is over all his injuries and is good as what they say.
