152 olympic boxer from Russia

Anyone know any information about the 152 boxer from the russian olympic team?

What 152 boxers? Do you mean their actual National team or do you mean all russians that have competed in the Olympic Games

Maybe i'm wrong but I think he means the 152 lbs Russian boxer from their 1996, 2000 and 2004 olympic team. If so...

That would be Oleg Saitov, who won gold in 1996 and 2000, but feel short this past year by losing in the semi's. Not sure what kind of info you are looking for. Seeing as how he is 31 years old, I don't believe we will see him making any pro debuts. But of course i don't have any current info on him so he may be.

Was looking for info about the russian national team member at 152. The kid I coach will be boxing him in Russia in July...any help?

They usually have several fighters from each divison on their national team, its not the same one that fights in all tournaments.

OK, I see.
I believe Saitov is retired. He wouldn't make a good pro, but he was awfully difficult to beat in the amateurs.

Alexander Lebziak will select from Andrey Balanov and Timur Gaidarov. Both are very skillful fighters. He is 3 times national champion and participate in previous World cup in Astana 2002. Gaidarov is former world champion from Houston (later lost the gold medal, because the decission was turned in favor of Cuban fighter) and European champion from Perm'02.
