And we all think we are experts

Post by Old bones Ian »

Don't blame Sky, Audley, Haye or anyone else.
We all knew what the outcome would be. But we stayed in and paid our money. We got suckered in, and we will do again.

Welcome to professional boxing.

In 5 hours we will watch a cheat against an alleged drug user

all 3 you mentioned above are as much to blame as us , were boxing fans , and the heavyweight titles will always be the most prestigous so of course we want to watch , its not skys fault what happened in the fight and we cant even blame them for hyping it up , theyve got a business to run after all , but the undercard is something they should have had more of a say on , the undercard should always be good in case something like this happens in the main event , but hayemaker bills undercards are always crap , i put blame on haye too as he knew what was going to happen in this fight and he should have thought long term about how this might effect his future ticket and ppv sales , and as for harrison , how on earth do you not at least have a go in a world title bout , if he really wasnt able to do anything about it then sky and haye and the wba are all guilty of allowing the fight to take place .

We were all going to buy it no matter what (minus the guy using illegal streams) , sky knew it and so did david haye and his team , they could at least try to do something to provide future interest for ppv's .

And why the eff is there adverts between rounds on a ppv , that really really shouldnt happen

I remember Tyson/Douglas. Thought it would be a farce so didn't watch it. I ended up turning on HBO thinking the fight was well over and caught Tyson trying to put his mouthpiece back in. Kicked myself for missing the massive upset. So like many others I now tune in just in case the unfathomable happens.

Sky did such a good job making it out as a 50/50, I'm happy to say that I said right from the start that Haye would walk through him and stop him with ease before the 6th!

£15 for a good night in ith the lads isnt a bad deal.

At the end of the day we all knew the likely outcome. Harrison had a punchers chance - if he had come out swinging, the tactics he trainer devised were rediculous and harrison was fcuked after the main exchange.

Alleged cheat? Anyone can allege anything about anyone else. Mayweather didn't want the fight, so dont tar a great fighter on the back of another man's dirty tricks campaign.

I went out and spent about £70 to watch it. I would never pay for that fight, and I'm surprised how many people were actually conned by this.

I think most reasonably well informed people knew the fight was a joke when it was announced.

Audley's rhetoric may have fooled a few people as the fight got closer, but I think the majority remembered what a joke he is & never wavered.

I'm glad I never paid PPV to see it, as I'd never do that for someone as poor as Audley Harrision.
