Is there much chance that his purse will be withheld?

His performance was pathetic and I hope he has at least some of his purse withheld?

Withhold his purse. They should give him a purse, a big pink one with matching heels and a frock.

I called for Danny Williams' purse to be withheld against Chisora - this should be the same really. Harrison was petrified throughout and had absolutely no legs.

HOW can you train for that long, give it such jip in the build up, and then put in a "performance" like that? He could have at least gone out swinging. What a joke Audley Harrison is.

Just a joke.
Definitely. I just posted something similiar. 10 weeks of training all to land one punch in nearly 9 mins and then to be rewarded with a minimum of £1m! Harrison must be laughing his bollocks all the way back to Miami

I almost felt sorry for him. Getting knocked out and then having 20-odd thousand people singing "you're shit and you know you are" must burn a bit.

Then I remembered his purse. He got paid six figures to get beat up. A lot of people in city centres up & down the country tonight are getting beat up WITHOUT getting paid!

Like I said, I ALMOST felt sorry for him.

I think there is something wrong with Audley to be honest. I think he is borderline mentally ill.

He looked very upset in the post fight interview, he'd clearly been crying, you could see the tear streaks. So he clearly felt humiliated, which then begs the question, why on earth did he not try to actually fight?

He completely froze. He managed to convince himself before the fight he was going to win. I don't think it was just a sales pitch, I think he actually thought he was going to win, even though he didn't really have any idea how it would actually transpire.

As soon as the bell went though, he reverted to type, a huge great cissy. I mean seriously, I could have made more of a go of it. Sure I'd have got knocked out but christ, I could have swung few shots Haye's way at least before being rendered unconscious.

He didn't even run away or defend himself well, he just stood there rooted to the spot getting hammered senseless. Not even the nous to hold. A truly pathetic spectacle.

I don't know if they can or will withold his purse, either way, Audley, please just do us a favour and fekk off. Take up another sport more suited to your persona, like Olympic bullshitting, or tiddlywinks.

Regardless of whether people paid the money or not, the promotion was an absolute joke from top to bottom.

Haye-Harrison simply should not have been made and the outcome has exposed this bigtime.

The undercard was non-existent and was demonstrated by Sky's coverage of the show.

Absolute joke. Well done Sky, you are entirely to blame for such an embarrassing promotion.

The promotion wasnt a joke the promotion was great in fact it was better than great it was amazing!

Look at how they covered the fight how they hyped it up the way the got tyson in Lennox in etc etc

The analyisis of fighters strengths and weaknesses not to mention some great production!
The actual fight they were doing it for however was the wrong one

They should be doing this for Froch Abraham and then when the public get a barnstormer FOTY contender they will want to watch more its a crying shame.

Yer i knew what u meant but in terms of "promotion" they ticked all the right boxes it frustrates me that they do this this for fights such as Audley Haye rather than other far more deserving fights which might make some of those casuals become fans of boxing

I think your being Naive, he turned up for the money and that was all. I certainly don't feel sorry for him, if i see him on the street i'm asking him for £15.
He's being naive? Your the one who spent £15 on a fight, that anyone with half a brain would know was a certain mismatch.

Were you expecting a different, Audley to turn up?

Yeah, I don't understand what people are complaining about. If he bet on himself to lose and threw the fight then that's a different matter. Alot of boxers put money on themselves to win.

its your own fault.

anyone who has watched Harrison throughout his career and then paid for that guff last night, quite frankly, has no right to moan or complain about it.

Why are We surprised about the performance??? lol We've seen Harrison his whole career shit himself when someone comes towards him throwing punches, and We've seen him refuse to throw punches...

So what are We complaining for??? lol

We are the pudenda for paying for it, thankgod the Groves fight was A great match up, and the Pacquiao fight was FREE and A classic... That eased the feeling of bein robbed...

I disagree. Audley had a gameplan and, as everyone knows in heavyweight boxing, one punch can turn a fight on it's head. Wasn't it Tyson who said "Everyone has a gameplan until they get hit hard." . Maybe Harrison should refund the paying public from his purse, and Haye from his winnings?

Why should his purse he withheld?

Parcel Force is a bum that almost always fails to deliver.

His performance was no great surprise.

He should have been nowhere near that ring as an opponent last night as he simply wasn't good enough.

You should be mad at Team Hayemaker for putting on this farce, not at Harrison for being useless, like he always was.
