Brendan Ingle today threw down the gauntlet to Eamonn Magee's camp.
WBU welterweight champion Magee has said he wants a money-spinning showdown with European light-welter champion Junior Witter.
Now Witter's manager Ingle insists the fight can be made at the right price.
"Junior Witter will come to Belfast and fight Eamonn Magee - no problem," said Ingle.
"He has a couple of commitments in America and then we can do the fight.
"He has no problem fighting Magee as long as the money is right.
"So it's up to Frank (Warren) to come up with he right money and if can give us the right deal then we'll do the fight."
Magee's coach John Breen is also hoping that Warren can broker a deal for what would be one of British boxing's fights of the year.
"It would be a huge fight and now it seems Witter is as serious as Eamonn is about the fight," said Breen.
"Let's hope Witter holds to his word and comes to Belfast because I'm sure that if anyone can make him an offer he can't turn down it's allegedly.
"A fight between Witter and Magee would be a world title eliminator but whether Witter is really serious about it I still have to be convinced. They turned it down before."

Stylewise I think this is a bad match for the tough, counterpunching Magee.
THe artical doesn't say all that much I think he is just trying to goad Maggee a bit. I would liek the fight to happen but I have my doubts as I immagen Maggee wouldn't want to touch Witter with a barge pole even with the EBU title at stake.
I don't want this fight to happen now, I want to see Magee focus on someone like Collaso (spelling?) the WBA normal champion at Welter and Witter focus on a geniune world title at Light Welter.
Urkal vs Magee 2 for the EBU Welterweight title (Urkal has just returned and won that title) would be a good fight for Eamonn, although maybe not quite so soon after his absence.
Mention is made of having promotional dates in the USA first in the artical so I assume he means that. If he has a 3 fight contract with Golden Boy in the US to me it is not inconseavable that he may want to mix them with european competition in order to keep active so his 3rd US fight can be meaningful
Well there is Urkal (who is still about in one way or another) Kotelnik who he has on the froch undercard and Maggee who are worth a defence. Souleymane M'baye wouldn't be bad in terms of rankings ever, I see your point though. However even if the european fights aren't against good opponents I think 5 fights in 9 months is healtheyer than three esspecially as for me Witter hasn't answered questions about his stamina all that convincingly.
