The commission handed down it's judgement on the Green V Briggs imbroglio and made these points:
''The commission is satisfied Paul Briggs, by not disclosing at any time to the examining doctors, his opponent or the Professional Combat Sports Commission the complete picture of his medical condition in relation to his nervous system and his ability to mount a credible defence, has participated in a sham contest,'' the Commission found.
Briggs' trainer, Billy Hussein, was also found to have participated in a sham contest, finding that he ''ought reasonably to have known Briggs was not in a condition to be able to engage in a genuine contest due to issues with his (Briggs) nervous system and his ability to engage in a genuine contest and mount a credible defence''.
The Commission ruled that should Hussein apply to register as a boxing industry participant in WA in the future, his application was ''unlikely to be viewed favourably''.

Err a west Australian commision finding Green done no wrong so therefore they done no wrong , by allowing the local glamor boy who gives them a chance to parade around all important , innocent of all charges , get stuffed the whole boxuing world knew Briggs was facked and taking it for the money , it was the easiest fight for the highest reward that Green could find ,

Coneye you say the whole boxing world knew Briggs was shot, Im telling you Green didnt have a clue Briggs was shot. Only a FEW knew Briggs woundnt make it to the second round, and you weret one of them. GREEN cleared of all misconduct charges.

I dare say fighting an opponent such as BJ Flores takes Green a long way from being compared with Mundine ?? Oh sorry.Mundine is stepping up and fighting Woods isnt he !!!
was a green fan till his last couple of fights,gunna take a fair bit to convince me & many others that he is not on the same path as mundine,flores is a good start,but the stench of that last fiasco is still hangin in the air
Didnt Geeen call out Hopkins and a few others, all knocked him back. At least hes keeping active. If anyone thinks Green knew Briggs was shot Why would he have called Briggs a dog for dogging it, he could have said he hit him the best punch hes ever thrown. By saying Briggs dogged it only called attension to the boxing world. If you were Green would you fight a boxer you KNEW you had a good chance of killing with one punch, l think not.
Colin ,,, Green KNEW the NSW commision knew Green has sparred with Briggs many times and DROPPED him . he was around Briggs at the time Briggs retired , and thats what makes Green the dog , he knew he was offering a broke sick man a lifeline of 250 THOUSAND DOLLARS , But what he never knew was that man was never gonna let himself get hurt and go down and grab the money .
He got shown up for what he is , i just hope Flores don't read the script and actually puts it on Green he may well win. But i doubt it cos Flores is excatly what Green scoured the world for a inactive not very good opponent .
dont think its hate colin,like i said, i was a green fan,but have a look at his last three fights not just the last one, very smart promoting,but went too far & got caught out, would love to have backed mundine too,both aussies & both got talent but greed is a bitch of a thing
