Would of liked to have seen the whole fight, what they showed Hall was in control. Just too clever and Strong for Davies. Had Hall by KO so im happy man :TU:

Could someone please confirm what time this fight actually started? I got into the MEN just as the Groves fight was on. The reason I'm asking is I had a bet on Hall to win in the 7th at 20/1 and Betfair have voided the bet and refunded my stake due to it not been on live.

I'm not best pleased and I'm going to ring them up tomorrow but
I need to know the exact start time of the fight before I do.

Just after 6pm mate.

http://news.boxrec.com/news/2010/hall-t ... ave-davies

I managed to publish the early fight reports straight away from ringside (see the published time mate).

Seemed a nice, honest lad Davies. Grabbed a quick word with him on the way from the ring.

why on earth was this fight on so early, and why didn't they announce a running order? really wanted to watch this and thought getting in for 7ish would let me

I don't know why there was no running order. What I do know is that, for some reason, either the venue or the telly put a bit of pressure on to gee things up - Heffron's fight was over before the scheduled start time.

Would have been great for Hall v Davies to be on at 8ish then Groves then the main one. I suppose the logic is that this would be very tight if the two first ones went the distance or something went awry.

Great shame though - it was a good fight.

Poor Gary always has excuses when he lose,i bet Hall have trouble getting down to bantam aswell&also only had 5weeks notice...i think hes found his level now(done well to win the british) he will find it hard if he go up to super bantam coz theres plenty of strength in depth at that weight...

I backed Hall at 20-1 to win in the 7th at lunchtime, same time as I was backing Villa United 2-2 at 50-1 at halftime, so good weekend on that front. Mind you I was confused and pissed off as to why this fight wasn't shown live and in it's entirety.....specially given the shennanigans and utter drivel surrounding the main "event".

Listen Lee, you can't come on here and give it the big 'un calling people nob heads, etc and not expect any flak. You've got off very lightly.

How am I twisting it? :o They're your words not mine, where you state he isn't even that bothered, and I can't see what's ambiguous about that? If you'd said not dwelling on it, that's a totally different slant and one I can understand more, but don't try and make out I'm trying to twist something when the fault is yours for not being clearer about what you meant :TU:
