Not at all, Audley is just useless, plain & simple.hurlock wrote:ok he took a barrage whilst covering but looked like he was looking for refuge on the floor imo.is it open for debate??
He doesn't belong in the same hemisphere as David Haye let alone the same boxing ring.
Audley has got form; whenever he meets adversity, his pupils dilate, a look of abject terror appears on his face, he freezes & stops throwing punches.
He was just terrified & got caught, there was no issue with him diving.
All the talk about his purse is total nonsense.
If the BBBC were to withhold his purse, they'd have to levy a fine for his performances against Williams (2005), Guinn & Rogan too.
Re: did audley take a dive??
I think your giving Fraudley a little too much credit here, hurlock wrote:ok he took a barrage whilst covering but looked like he was looking for refuge on the floor imo.is it open for debate??

It's like people who claim that Liston took a dive against Ali in '65.
Liston was on his feet fighting when the fight was halted.
If want to see a dive, I refer people to Tyson -v- SELDON or Sinan Samil Sam -v- JULIUS FRANCIS; now they were dives, not Audley Harrison against David Haye.
Re: did audley take a dive??
Harrison didn't take a dive, and he's not useless believe it or not. He froze as he has no arsehole, thats his problem, its psychological. He enjoys he hype leading up to a fight, loves the back slappers, being treated like a celeb and life of a boxer out of the ring. When it gets down to the real stuff his arsehole drops out. The man did have ability but his mental state stopped it coming through I believe.
Re: did audley take a dive??
Oh, just read the statement from Harrison.....I think he is also deluded

someone should by him the slush puppy hat & scarf to stop him freezing :!:
Re: did audley take a dive??
lol i see some people are still rabbiting on about this
including an article in the sun today
Whats happend here is simple imo
allot of people simply have bruised ego's,
they bought into Sky's hype good and proper and were convinced it would be a competitive fight.
they bought the PPV, enjoyed the pre fight hype and some even backed Harrison for the win
and now they feel stupid,
but there opinion carn't be wrong
therefore the only explanation can be
it was a fix
