Etienne drank his ass off before fight night vs Valuev!!!!!!

Post by BubiScholz »

When Etienne met Valuev on Friday at weigh-in he was totally shocked. He told Cedric Kushner to cancel the fight "I am not insane!!". Kushner said: "No way".

So Etienne went to the Hotel Bar and drank till 2.00 (Saturday!!!!) that much "Weissbier" that he was KOed by the alohol. His wife had to rescue him and put him into bed......The way he was talking after the fight you could recognize some rest-alcohol.....He said he loves Germany

Don't think it would have made much difference anyway. A chinless wonder vs a 12 foot monster. Think we all new the outcome of this when it was announced.
After that much German beer though, Ettiene probably thought he could take anyone.

I just watched that fight on an AVI download. For a guy scared witless he gave a pretty gutsy performance and got up punching from the knockdowns. Landed quite a few on Valuev's lofty chin too, he wouldn't want to let a Klitschko or a Tua do that too often.

I wonder if Corrie Sanders could be tempted back onto a Universum payroll for a fight with Valuev? Personally I think that would be a more dangerous opponent for Nikolai than Akinwande, but then again maybe Universum don't want so much risk at this time.

Sanders is signed to Universum (but did he retire again?) but Valuev is with Sauerland so its a difficult fight to make.

I think this more recent Sanders retirement was just a rumour. I'm sure Sanders has made a statement saying it is not the case - although he is only actively seeking big paydays.

What I have heard is that Universum has sent Coach Mittermeier to South Africa to get the Colonel in shape. Universum is aiming Wladi Klitschko with the Colonel so they also want to go the "IBF-way".

Valuev will be #1 in the WBA after their next meeting at the end of May. Next fight will be vs Ruiz as a mandatory. This will be the definite end of the Wrestler!!!!! :TU:

Sanders needs to quit, he showed up in disgraceful shape against Vitali. His hearts not in it these days.

He wasn´t better in the Wladi-fight but it was enough to beat the younger Klitschko.

Just had a look, the Colonel was 10lbs heavier for Vitali than against Wladimir. His bitch tits were at least twice as big for the Vitali fight as far as I recall.

Sanders was in worst shape for his last fight, I do like him though a real crowd pleaser. Raw power (because technically his punch form is poor), dodgy chin, dodgy stamina with great heart, makes for a fantastic fighter.

He may as well have had a barmaid bring him steins between rounds - he might have lasted a bit longer, who knows.

Big smile on Cliff's face when the ref waved it off, but he did give it his best shot.

At one point, The Beast ( there has to be a role in a upcoming James Bond film for him somewhere - or Lord Of The Rings maybe )
clipped Etienne, sending him staggering off behind him. This left the beast gazing round the ring, wondering where the hell his opponent had got to....meanwhile, Cliff regrouped and noticed the giant gazing off in the wrong direction, so he staggered over to him on drunken legs and launched a punch north, just missing. The Beast turned round and pretty much threw his tiny opponent to the ground.

Now I'd had a few steins myself, but I'm sure this happened.

The way he threw Etienne around was quite amusing. Etienne landing flat on his back sprawled out after being pushed down

Valuevs an absolute fornicating monster 23 half stone, 6'10". He made Etienne look like a little boy. Valuev Vs Peter would be good. Sanders could test Valuevs chin, but if hes still standing after 3 rounds its all over for the Colonel

Last I heard he was 7 feet tall.

325 lbs is just such a huge amount of weight, it's hard not to start getting convinced he can be a force when he starts learning a few skills, which he has since changing trainers and promoters. He's looking more and more like a proper boxer, and whenever he tags people with even a cuffing shot, they are sent reeling all over the place.

First I heard he was 7'2", then I thought I heard that he was officially measured at 6'10, but I thought he looked even bigger than that when he was in the ring with the Black Rhino. His skills ain't too bad either, he ain't know Primo Canerra

He's officially 6'11, read that not so long ago. Quite possible it could fluctuate I guess on someone that big, depending whether he's had a turd that day that sort of thing. Imagine the size of his turds actually? Jesus wept.

One of his turds is probably bigger than Etienne. :D
