Price did stop the world number one at the time, it weren't just your usual Joe Bloggs.whicker wrote:I don't mean to be cynical or nasty, but lets not get hoodwinked here. (I use the term in a tounge in cheek way- don't take offence.)
How good is Price, really?
Hew can bang, thats for sure. But his Olympic "pedigree" perhaps isn't as good as it sounds. He won one on a stoppage, then won the next (and his medal) due to a pull out because of an injury, then he was stopped by the very talented Italian Roberto Cammarelle.
He looks decent as a pro, but hasn't, yet, really answered many questions (or indeed, been asked to.)
IF and it's a massive, King Sized ultra deluxe "IF" Harrison can get a mojo going, Harrison may well have the advantage here.
Basically, I'd say if it's the same Harrison who won prizefighter, this would, at least, be a decent fight.
I agree that Pricey hasn't really had much in terms of competition, but I do feel he's looked tidy in despatching his opposition. He's looked good technically, and can bang.
I feel he should fight McDermott, and if he comfortably beats him (which I think he would), I'd get him in an eliminator for the British.
With regards to fighting Audley. I'd like to see it happen. I feel Pricey would hurt Audley quite easily, and we all know what happens when Audley gets hit hard. Pricey wouldn't be able to start slow though, because that's playing into the joker's hands.
