Audley Harrison to carry on.
according to Audley he is going to carry on, saw him on the news this morning and he said he never got started against Haye and didnt really get hurt so he hasnt fulfilled his destany
i'm not suprised he will carry on and im sure there are some fights for him, i doubt he could fill the MEN next fight but im sure he could fill the Doncaster Dome.
To be honest I would like to see him with someone who is one par with him, im not sure who but if he fights someone like Herbie Hide say I think I would shell out around £30 to see the fight, on condition the undercard was reasonable.

Well, 2011 is the year that he's going to be HW champ of the world, so I suppose he has to carry on.

its not out of the question, if he defends his euro belt he could easily get a title shot.Syntax Error wrote:Well, 2011 is the year that he's going to be HW champ of the world, so I suppose he has to carry on.![]()
at the end of the day there are many titles out there. Who is the WBF and WBO champions? Id like to see Harrison face Herbie Hide though to be honest.
Re: Audley Harrison to carry on.
Does he keep the Euro belt if he lost to Haye though? thought they took it off you for a loss? Wladimir K is the WBO champion. WBF is Evander Holyfield.mimmy123 wrote:its not out of the question, if he defends his euro belt he could easily get a title shot.Syntax Error wrote:Well, 2011 is the year that he's going to be HW champ of the world, so I suppose he has to carry on.![]()

Personally I think he's had enough goes, but if he fights again I will watch it, so it's my own silly fault, and everyone elses, for tuning in and encouraging it.

you'd like to see that would you? and you think Harrison would be a "good name" for Fury to have on his record?
This thread, like Audley Harrison, like your post, is a very sad state of affairs. It's actually wasting space on the forum.
Re: Audley Harrison to carry on.
Notice, though, all other issues aside- he was ON THE NEWS.... (mentioned in the first post) How many other boxers get that sort of coverage these days?
Compare, for example, to Carl Froch- a bona fide World Champion for a while, and in some really good fights.
Would his next "career move" be on the news?

It must be soul destroying for a decent fighter & a true warrior like Carl Froch.
He's largely ignored, yet a disappointment like Audley Harrison gets all the press.

He hasn't got the Euro belt. Dimitrenko is European champion

Good call from leftfield there. That's one of the few fights involving Audley that could still do good numbers, given their history. Best of Enemies 2: This Time It Actually Is Personal.mimmy123 wrote:Id like to see Harrison face Herbie Hide though to be honest.

Re: Audley Harrison to carry on.
I don't think Harrison would have the balls to get in with Hide unless he was earning really good money- which is not likely now.
Re: Audley Harrison to carry on.
Seems as if everyone has forgotten this...I have heard it repeated over and over even though Dimitrenko has been the EBU champ for almost 4 months and has a good matchup with Sosnowski scheduled.gobbles wrote:mimmy123 wrote:its not out of the question, if he defends his euro belt he could easily get a title shot.Syntax Error wrote:Well, 2011 is the year that he's going to be HW champ of the world, so I suppose he has to carry on.![]()

Hide is a long way past his best, so he might not wet himself so much at the prospect.Terminator666 wrote:I don't think Harrison would have the balls to get in with Hide unless he was earning really good money- which is not likely now.
Prime Hide would have obliterated Harrison the same way Haye did.

My God - what a nerve.mimmy123 wrote:according to Audley he is going to carry on, saw him on the news this morning and he said he never got started against Haye and didnt really get hurt so he hasnt fulfilled his destany
Still - he will go down in the history books for the fighter who landed the least punches in a world title fight.
He may not be mentally ill but he sure has some manic delusional traits to his personality as well as arrogance - it must be great living in the AH household listening to him rabbit on...
And yes folks, I am going to do this - what is the difference between Audley Harrison and his behaviour and performance against David Haye and Charlie Zelenoff in his only fight - not much let me tell ya..

He's just given a disgraceful performance, pocketing more money in a three-round surrender than many fighters will make in their careers, and people want to see him fight again?
I'm fornicating amazed...

Why one earth did you pay 60 quid to watch a fight that you knew wasn't going to be competitive? Does that make you a bigger sucker than me?diggler wrote:i was there live, what were people expecting audley to come out swinging i went there fully expecting haye to win early and easy people are just pissed off they bought the sky hype
