Doubt signing with GBP would be the best move... They're pretty rubbish at the developing side of fighters.
W arren would be the best move as he'd get the coverage he deserves.

Well if Khan fights twice a year, Murray won't be too busy in 2011.

How would golden boy promote his fights in the UK? No one knows what channel Amir next fight on! Murray needs to build a UK fan base first.

British(Lonsdale belt for keeps) and European champion and possible world title eliminator coming up is hardly a talent going to waste. I'd say his career might have moved at a quicker pace, on the other hand he's developed his experience which will be crucial if he gets this world title eliminator.

Yes, but fighters younger than Murray have been signed up & are getting the fights & recognition. If he has signed a 3 fight deal with GBP, surely, this can only be a good thing for John?

Personally I don't think his age is particulary relevent, moreso the fact he's had 30 fights and is only fighting at Euro level when he is obviously beyond that stage. He needs to ditch Hennessey and joins Sports Network and get fighting regularly on TV. One minute him and his manager are talking Katsidis and then nothing. If he was with Warren you'd know he'd put the money up to make those sorts of fights. Hennessey just doesn't have that sort of cash to spend with no TV deal.

Agreed he desperately needs more exposure and a promoter who can pull the right strings for him to get him better tv slots and general promotion to build his fanbase. He has the style to please the fans but it is going to waste. I think with the style of fighter he is, these next 2 years will see him hit his peak and he needs to be getting good fights and better money now.
