Finding Joe Louis in "NAME"

Post by Bobbin & Weavin »

There is something inherently wrong in the boxer record search category (name) when you type in the name of one of the premier individuals of our sport, Joe Louis, and have to continue to search through pages of names to find him. It’s actually easier to type in one of his opponent’s names and cross-reference. Is there something that can be done about that?

maybe the results page could come with the option to be sorted by ratings points... chances are whoever you are searching for is a big name, right?

Boxrec's search facility isn't so good. Using a wildcard character to narrow results is very, very strange. I use Google instead.

Seach for: joe louis boxrec

e.g. http://www.google.co.uk/#sclient=psy&hl ... d7857edbcb
