Andy Murray-Claudinei Lacerda -RTE Free, Live & Legal stream
RTE will be providing a stream for tonights bill in Castlebar.
Murray heads the bill but we will probably get to get a little of the Rogan and Hyland fights as well, maybe even Paul Truscott.

Murray boxing his way into it a bit more now, but Lacerda is dangerous enough.
Couldn't be arsed travelling down for this one so just watching it on RTE2.

But I need Murray to win here for my Murray/Buckland double to come up.
Re: Andy Murray-Claudinei Lacerda -RTE Free, Live & Legal stream
I had a sneaky suspicion that Buckland's style might just suit the Prizefighter tournament. But I'll keep quiet as I also thought Gary McArthur might be a dark horse

Just had a look at Murray's record. Five years ago this weekend that me and fellow BoxRec poster James McDonnell saw Murray at the old Cafe Royal. He looked the mustard and we both had very high hopes for him. Looking at his log now, he seems to have stagnated...

That's weird, I was just going to post the very same thing. Murray bizzarely seems less skillful than he was then. He was one of the most impressive novices I've ever seen. He looks fairly ordinary now.Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:Just had a look at Murray's record. Five years ago this weekend that me and fellow BoxRec poster James McDonnell saw Murray at the old Cafe Royal. True dat, Jim. We thought he was going to be a world beater.jamesmcdonnell wrote:That's weird, I was just going to post the very same thing. Murray bizzarely seems less skillful than he was then. Andy Murray gets up off the canvas to beat Claudinei Lacerda on points by a score of 98-92

He is going to start fighting good opposition now, right?

Yeah doesnt look vaguely world class - not based on this fight anyway.Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:True dat, Jim. I'm hearing Healy banjo'd Waldron to take the Irish title.
Delighted for him.
Wants to add him to the Buckland/Murray double but couldnt get odds.

Funnily enough that was the best I've seen him in a bit.jamesmcdonnell wrote:Yeah doesnt look vaguely world class - not based on this fight anyway.Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:True dat, Jim. Sometimes he can be a cure for insomnia and is massively protected.
ApolloCreed on here always has a go at me for not promoting Murray.

You have to say Andy was decent last night. He was caught cold in the 1st and the combination of a good shot and losing his balance contributed to the knock down although he wasn't really hurt.
I'm a fan of his but I dont think he's world class, far from it to be honest, but he's a nice fella ready to fight whoever and does all his talking in the ring. Hugely popular in his home county.
Where to go from here for the Cavan man?? He wont take on Rees or Murray both would out work him but Peters will want to milk out that unbeaten record, I bet Andy will get to 25-0 (which would look great on the posters for selling tickets and bill him as the next white hope!) before Peters really tests him.....

Murray took a strong punch to the temple and momentarily he lost control of his senses. He's legs seemed to me to totally collapse beneath him. He recovered straight away though. The whole episode was like shooting something with a bolt-gun.03mcgs0 wrote:You have to say Andy was decent last night.
