Best British prospect right now?

In the light of Amir's recent conversion to the pro ranks who is the best prospect Britain currently has? By "prospect" I mean anybody who has yet to achieve their full potential and who could be deemed to be "on the way up", eg Carl Froch has the GB title but we expect bigger things from him so he is still a "prospect".

Audley Harrison. David Haye, if he can control himself and work on any weaknesses. Froch as well, although I think he´ll need to get the left hand up as he steps up in class. Kevin Mitchell?? No idea because he hasn´t fought anybody. Anthony Small looks promising too, but it is too early to say for sure.

keep an eyte out for junior mcdonald at cruiser as well.
he has only had two fights but if his talent matches his physique then he could be something special.

(that sounded a bit gay not intended you get what im saying).

a 34 year old Half-"Journeyman" is not a prospect. a young and talented Khan is a prospect.

Tony Doherty, time for him to step up a level
David Barnes, looked top class against Hare
Michael Jennings, looked good last year
Ross Minter, good last time out
Kevin Mitchell, not popular on here sometimes but still a good prospect

Mitchell looks a good exciting prospect. I'm looking forward to seeing him fight again. Would like to see him on the Hatton-Tszyu undercard.

He is fighting the night before mate, brodie Harrison undercard.

Ricky Burns surely deserves a mention.

I had never heard of him when he handled Graham Earl on short notice and above his normal weight.

That was the only time i've seen him but on that showing i'm very interested to see what he can do.

I liked the look of Darren Barker when he made his debut but not heard much since. Andy Morris looked impressive when he beat Harroon Din but seem to have dropped off the radar since, i expected him to be a good fighter.

Mitchell, Murray, Barker, Doherty, Morris, Woolcombe, Bevis and Matt Marsh are all exciting prospects

Woolcombe takes a step up in class tonight against Parkinson so it will be interesting to see how he fares also Morris going for English title tonight.

Paul Smith has to be included, especially with the power he is showing lately. His skills will take him quite far. Derry Matthews deserves a mention too, lots of talent but he struggles to get matched apparently

Me being scottish i always like mentioning our boys, what about kevin Anderson? fights for another meaningless title in a month or so, but i think hes looking good 13-0,

what about rciky burns? beats earl with ease. looking good also

Scotland have some decent guys coming through, add Barry Morrison to that list. What do people make of Morrison? He looks okay so far.

Yes, but I wouldn't class a British champion as a Prospect - more like "on his way there".

My definition of a prospect is the likes of Mitchell, Haye, Jennings, Doherty, Conception etc.

The best prospect in the Uk in my opinion is Tony Doherty, although Ben Dunne is worthy of a mentioned. Forget Dunne as a puncher, he reminds me of Damean Kelly.

Some others worthy of a mention include Foster Jnr, Minter, and Mitchell.

I am impressed with these four especially.
