Ricardo Williams, former olympic silver medalist, was sentenced to three years in prison for conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Williams, 23, along with two other men were prosecuted for trying to pick up a package of cocaine shipped to Cincinnati-Williams' hometown.

Ricardo informed the court that he plans to continue boxing after he is released from prison

Wasn't he at large as well for a while? Makes you wonder what goes through some peoples heads.

Met him at the Sydney Olympics, seemed a nice bloke, introduced me to a couple of other fighters, even though he had just had a bout and his hand was wrapped up in ice, shame whats happened, i don't think he realised what sort of talent he had, got a big signing on bonus when he turned pro, i think this didn't help him to train very hard.
Only has himself to blame though
