Did anyone see this man's last fight?

Apologies if it's already been discussed. I watched it on Eurosport last night. Even in the days of dodgy titles, this must be one of the worst. Plus, the ref was again either utterly incompetent or corrupt - and Steve Holdsworth rightly said so.
The Italian was whaling away on the Pole at the ropes in the third and was caught with a big left hook, right cross. He was totally gone. The ref stepped in and basically made sure he was OK rather than doing his job. Then when the lad took a knee he began his count. It should have been all over - Abis had at least twice the permitted time to recover. Utter garbage.
More Italian nonsense
Re: More Italian nonsense
I didn't watch it myself as the live stuff on Eurosport is usually a bit dodgy but my old man had it on and even though he is not a Boxing fan he was mystified why the ref helped the Italian get up and let him continue after that huge shot he took. Sounds like corruption is still rife in Italy. And the Inter Continental European belt or something was on the line as wellIan 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:Did anyone see this man's last fight?

Bad decision by the ref, and I'm from Italy
In my opinion Abis lost that match, but i still think he is one of the best italian prospect.
In Italy WBU, WBF etc. were not allowed, but our fighters can win IBF intercontinental belt, IBF international belt, IBF international Continent belt, IBF Mediterraneo belt (BTW Mediterraneo is the largest see in Europe), ect.....
