Super Joe put to shame!!!

Post by Hagler2002 »

Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham is some run of fights, certainly makes better reading than Joe's only one decent win on his record against a young and green Kessler.

just a shame Froch doesn't have Warren's PR machine and a load of gullible boyos to lap it up, otherwise he'd be a living legend with that record.

Yes green, show me the unification and world level opponents he'd been in with before he fought 'Super Joe'

Froch doesn't need to tag himself to Calzaghe's name.

Carl just said he is up against Glen Johnson next and then Ward in the final.

Win those, and they are winnable, then move up to get it on with Pascal! Some run of fights that would be.

Froch has built a solid resume now, can't think of many fighters from the UK with as many top class wins.

Was a troll post, but Frochy has got a better resume than JC, hands down.

Calzaghe UD still though.

Absolutely. Calzaghe's legacy needs to be viewed for what it was.

Froch has shown Calzaghe up, despite Kessler's win.

For me bacca, Frochy still has to establish himself as the man to match Calzaghe. That said his wins are excellent. Could have even got the decision vs Kessler. Plus had a ton of injuries in the build up and couldn't pull out- which you never hear him moaning about. Calzaghe would have beaten though i think.

Doubt he would have faced the same opponents had he been with FW to be honest.

I think Frochy needs a couple more big wins to get anywhere near the legacy JC has left. I think Froch has the better resume, but Calzaghe is the bigger superstar.

Taylor was old and winning until the last 10 seconds of the fight, and he lost to dirrell and Kessler - so whats your point?

Kessler was green lol if anything you could say he had ring rust against froch and still won.

More people on the street will know JC over Froch. Calzaghe has left a bigger impression on the public.

Froch has the better resume though, imo.

Why do people still feel the need to compare the two?

Can't we just say they're both top drawer fighters and we should be proud of them?

How is it a troll post? Show me a fighter in the world today apart from Pacquiao with a better level of opponent in their last five fights?
