Just heard an interview with him on BBC where he said it is Johnson, but the BBC says it is a rematch with Abraham, which would clearly be pointless after that!

i couldn't fcking believe it when I heard it was Abraham........to be honest, although I know most of the results of this tourney I have little interest in the misguided format, or the current points situation..............I mean, FFS, I heard tonite that Froch n Abraham are guaranteed semi finalists before they even fought, as is Andre Ward.......yet Ward is fighting Bika tonight, and Bika wasn't even mentioned in the table.........in short I haven't got a fckin clue or a bit of interest in the tournament I bought this fight solely on the basis of Froch - Abraham as it sounded a real good contest on paper.....

in any case....Abraham got DQ'd in his last fight but he's still in the tourney.....so where does that leave Dirrell?? And on top of that I said at the start of all this it was unrealistic cos they're bombing sh*t out of each other with retirements left right and centre and I haven't even got started on injuries picked up in training OR home advantage issues etc.....

Froch will fight Glen Johnson and Abraham will fight Ward. That is if AA doesn't pull out of the tournament as has been rumoured.

Ward-Bika is not part of the Super 6 tournament so that is why Bika doesn't feature in any table. They gave Ward an extra 2 points when Dirrell pulled out and put him straight through to the semi final.

It has produced some exciting fights but the format just doesn't work. I think lessons will be learned and straight knockout tournaments will be the thing of the future such as the upcoming bantam one from showtime.

they said on the tele that because of the points situation that Froch would fight AA again.

that would just be ugly and bad for boxing.......sure AA could knock him spark out but frankly, after 2nite, it's highly unlikely cos he's too small and has zero lateral movement and concedes several inches in the reach department......but that's what they said on TV. It would be madness surely?? Couldn't see AA going anywhere near it anyway tbh..

If it was the primetime team who said it then we need another source!

froch is fighting abraham again in the semi's the table has ward 1st froch 2nd abraham 3rd johnson 4th 1st fights 4th and 2nd fights 3rd so we do this pointless fight again,i didnt see the point in this fight anyway as they both had already qualified for the semi's this tornament has been a joke the further it has gone on it should of been a you lose your out tornament

Was that the twelve-year old who was the main studio head? He sounded like he'd taken a Valium before the show.
