Impressive, don't blink. One of the KO's of the year, Iron Mike style.

Re: Andre Berto v Fast Freddie Hernandez
That was a big punch. Freddie did well to get up but the ref did the right thing. Berto was very fast and confident.
Re: Andre Berto v Fast Freddie Hernandez
great finish by berto, he needs a breakout fight now
couldnt believe cabbelero(sp) got beat

Re: Andre Berto v Fast Freddie Hernandez
Neither could I, against Litzau of all people. Wasn't a bad fight, although Caballero was a bit of a letdown, even allowed Litzau to bully him at some points, something I didn't see coming.diggler wrote:great finish by berto, he needs a breakout fight now

Re: Andre Berto v Fast Freddie Hernandez
Good finish & I agree the correct decision by the ref to stop it.
Re: Andre Berto v Fast Freddie Hernandez
seen Berto twice now.....not sure how he's got to the top he bores me stiff watching him.Looks like a pretty boy too. His opponent did NOTHING in that fight.
Re: Andre Berto v Fast Freddie Hernandez
Absolutely brutal KO.
Here's hoping Freddie makes a full recovery.
Now I know why Berto gets a million dollars for last night.

Re: Andre Berto v Fast Freddie Hernandez
Got to admit I had my doubts about Berto but that was impressive. He has developed very well, and while I don't think he's an elite level fighter yet he's definitely on the way to the top level. As other shave said though, he needs a breakout fight. He might have to move up to get it though, as there is no one at welter to fight.
Re: Andre Berto v Fast Freddie Hernandez
I say that on the assumption that Mayweather and Pacquiao would not be interested.

Good referee
Re: Andre Berto v Fast Freddie Hernandez
Wouldn't call that brutal. Good shot no doubt. Good refereeing too.G0mez wrote:Absolutely brutal KO.

Berto is good, but he needs to fight some live bodies.crusader wrote:Don't like Berto?G0mez wrote:Absolutely.glahn wrote:I say that on the assumption that Mayweather and Pacquiao would not be interested.

Re: Andre Berto v Fast Freddie Hernandez
no mate i just checked his record and it was David Estrada who I saw him against. He just looks like a squat little short man, not especially great at anything to me and a bit of a pretty boy. On youtube the clip of his most recent fight is 8 mins 34 secs but 4 minutes of that is dancing and posing to his own ring entrance in his fancy adidas trainers. Maybe I'm missing something but he just looks a posh Denton Vassell to me.black panther wrote:NorthEastBoxingFan wrote:seen Berto twice now.....ot sure hown he's got to the top he bores me stiff watching him.Looks like a pretty boy too. IMO he's great to watch! I've seen a lot of his fights on the way up too. Perhaps prior to this you just saw the Collzao fight or something?
mind you I never thought Jermain Taylor was a million dollars versus Angel Manfredy and he proved me wrong so maybe it's early to call.

Ok, but we've seen a lot worse get title shots. Berto made it seem a lot easier than it should have been, he'd never been KO'd before and had just stopped Mike Anchondo and Corley, so he was no bum.G0mez wrote:Absolutely.glahn wrote:I say that on the assumption that Mayweather and Pacquiao would not be interested.
