And the Usain Bolt comparison is a good one.

Bolt has evidently trained for many, many years, but he was born with the gift of terrific speed, more than any other man in history. He is truly a freak of nature, an awesome athlete.

Many will have trained harder than him, for longer. Many have tried illegal substances and still trail in his wake.

Hamed's power was natural, and the angles he produced obviously helped because they gave his arsenal - including the corkscrew uppercut we'd hear about time and again - that element of surprise.
