Did anyone go to Khan vs Kindelan 3?

Post by stujones »

Just a quick question to those that went (or someone that know the answer), did the fight actually take place on the pitch of the Reebok stadium. The screen was very darkend but for such a big venue (if it was pitchside) then there didn't seem to be alot of people in the crowd. I'm not saying the fight didn't sell as I didn't see an empty seat - just that it didn't look like there were many seats allocated.

I have been the Reebok stadium and it could have quite easily been held in one of their plush conference rooms that they have, or their resturant.

It just didn't give me the outdoor feel. Can anyone confirm if it was on the pitch.

I went to the Reebok a few years back to watch Wolves fight out a dull 1-1 draw (Steve Corica scored that's how bad it was) and the ground is really awesome although they never seem to manage to fill it. Hopefully Khan can have an open air show there a few years down the line.

I wonder whether old "Allegedly" hasn't lost interest in outdoor venues a little since Tyson battered Savarese at a wet and windy Hampden Park. There was much talk of Hatton v Tszyu being staged at Maine Road or the Reebok, and it ended up back in the MEN.
