Not sure what he is doing as far as fights go but he is training. To be fair he looks quite fit. I wouldn't really see the point if a comeback unless he fully believes he's back to his best but like I say he looks fit and I'm pretty sure he's training most days so maybe we'll see him again in the ring.

Because he's Iranian, so of course he must be working in a kebab shop.... har har

It's good to know he staying in shape. But he's getting up there in age and I hope rumours of a comeback are just rumours. I think it's fair to say he was somewhat limited boxing ability wise but gave us great knockouts over the years. And I thought he did well going the distance with a prime Santos who was a right handful in his day.

There's nothing wrong with it, but it sounded like you were making a race-based stereotype joke. However I suppose if his family did run a kebab shop, then it was a fair question!

Anyway as far as I know, he now a UK citizen.

Takaloo's family did not run a kebab shop so it was a cheap snipe.

I remember reading the same story in the paper that he got charged for it but...
Fraud charges dropped against Kent boxer Takaloo
Mehrdud Takalobigashi, 31

Benefit fraud charges have been dropped against boxing champion Takaloo after his wife pleaded guilty.

The 31-year-old boxer from Essex, whose full name is Mehrdud Takalobigashi, had the charges of falsely claiming social security, housing and council tax benefit dropped after prosecutors offered no evidence against him.

He had been jointly charged with Sarah Takalobigashi, 30, from Gainsborough Avenue in Margate, who admitted the charges. She will appear before Canterbury Crown Court on December 14.

Takaloo is currently the WBU welterweight champion.
