I'v just been informed tony bellew will be fightin saturday, not friday ,this has no bearing on the fact that he will still be gettin smashed when we meet!! good luck sausage!!
This is a fight i'd personally love to see, anyone think it'll realistically happen? Press reports seemed to suggest that McIntosh turned down the Bellew fight for 11th Dec, unsure how true that is though. :bag:
i see it mate i commented on it,told him i think bellew would beat him :TU: he reckon it hasnt happend coz of politics

I'd love to see this but McIntosh likes to blow hot air. If Bomber KOs McKenzie I can see McIntosh avoiding Tony.

If the fight does happen, it'll be an early, brutal KO for Bomber. Styles make fights and McIntosh is there to be hit.

I agree but Danny can bang as well though and Bomber doesn't exactly like to 'bob and weave' for 12 rounds!
Don't judge Tony on Ajisafe. He was caught square for the knockdown, weren't hurt one bit, and generally just had an off night.

I don't think McIntosh has the power to worry Tony. McIntosh would have to worry about keeping Bomber at bay for 12 rounds, which just isn't happening.

I've seen Tony fight live on numerous occasions so don't need to judge him on his last fight. Bellew had an off night against Ajisafe, anyone could see that but he needs to put it right now against McKenzie and get people talking for the right reasons about his performance. :bag:
I think he will mate. There's not many around with a style like Ajisafe, and I think both McKenzie and McIntosh will come to fight - which suits Tony down to a tee!

let me assure every1 who reads this that mcintosh is a complete 5hit house and all talk. :KO:

i wont go into figures but he got offered a career high pay day and a chance to win a belt or 2 and still turned it down, (fact not opinion)

he asked for a large sum of money at the start and got an offer which fell short of his asking price, he then got another very good offer which he turned down, and then he got exactly what he asked for and then still turned that down saying it wasnt enough :o  he then went on to make excuses saying it didnt make financial sense and boxing politics have played a part in it :KO: :KO: :OhYes: :KO: :KO:

a week or so later he then confirmed a fight with wait for it....................... hastings rasani,

now if fighting bellew in front of a packed out stadium a career high pay day and a chance to win a belt or 2 didnt make financial or boxing sense then how the f*** does fighting rasani tick those boxes :witzend: :witzend: :witzend:

danny if you read this you really need to grow a set mate, a few weeks back you stated in b.n that you would smash bellew then you get offered the fight and make up countless excuses for it not to happen,

mcintosh's confidence has been wrecked by cleverley & he actually told bellew's reporter friend he wanted no part in him  maybe the ajisafe fight has pepped him up or just the fact he has nowhere to hide.

He took the fight against Oakey after the Cleverly fight, which was considered a 50-50 type of fight, so I don't think his confidence has been damaged too much.

i never stated the loss was before.

& chris 'the talker' walker can verify my previous statement where mcintosh wanted no part in bellew.

I'll be there next Saturday in the Arena so fingers crossed he puts on a performance! ain't looking forward to the journey back to Cardiff straight after the show though! :(
If you were up with your mates then there's plenty of cheap digs about. Would be a good night out afterwards. :TU:

I think this is good matchmaking to compare him and Clev. I really think MacIntosh would cause Bellew trouble I would think it would be tight early but Tony's better boxing skills would take over with him stopping MacIntosh late!

Yes, I can confirm that Danny Macintosh informed me following his win over Tony Oakey that he "would not fight Tony Bellew unless he was allowed to wear steel armour."

Mcintosh vs Bellew could be a british classic if both turn up in good form. Bellew now has a lot to prove to me after stepping up against Ajisafe and not proving to be the massive KO artist he was purported to be. It does seem like Danny Mac is being a bit of a shitbag here though, but he hadn't fought since February so maybe he felt he needed a warm-up fight, who knows, he could have took the Rasani fight and still fought Bomber on the 11th December barring any disasters.

Has Cleverly vacated the British title yet?

He hasn't defended it in over a year, so why hasn't the BBBofC given him a mandatory challenger in that time?

I watched the fight originally on a stream-link, that wasn`t very good quality ... I have since had a look of it in better quality. Bellews legs do look rather stiff as he walks to the corner after the knockdown .... take a look for yourself.

Its all guess work obviously. But I happen to think either guy is capable of seriously hurting the other ... thats why its such an attractive fight :TU:

this fight will about levels and bellew is a level or 2 above mcintosh, he will get broken down in this fight if cleverly who i rate had him down that many times bellew will knock him clean out, good fight if it comes off i think mckenzie fight will be alot tougher than the potential mcintosh fight
