If Hatton fights Witter?

Post by Roars Like Me »

If the younger Hatton fights Witter what do you think the outcome would be?

I can't say I think much of Ricky's brother on the other hand Junior has been on the slide even before his long lay off. To be fair to Junior though, slide or not, he's only lost at World level and Matthew has never been near that so it makes it an interesting match up nonetheless.

In my opinion Hatton's only chance of beating him is now due to Junior's long lay off.
Even with that thrown in I still think Hatton will be lucky to survive.

Any thoughts?

Even now when hatton is probably at his peak his skills are nowhere near that of witter, having said that hatton could probably wrestle and clinch his way to a points win

I think Wiiter would beat him - Hatton is well protected and they know their limitations. As long as Sky keep showing him fighting tomato cans then he's going to continue to be paid to fight tomato cans.

I think witter would stop him, I saw junior the other day he looks in goood shape and lives a clean life and is far too tricky for math hatton

witter without a warm up has alot of rust to shed & ricky aint letting a well oiled witter go in there & belt out his brother. the fight aint a full gone conclusion but it look's terrific on paper.
matthew has come on & grown & desreves alot of credit but when he demand's it i tend to go off him.

if witter is on form which will be questionable after such a long lay off he will be to quick skillfull and powerfull and i think hed stop magic in 6 rounds, if wiiter has a off night then hatton grinds out a points win, intriguing fight

Witter rusty would be too much but I don't think witter stays out of the gym long enough to be rusty, junior has talent and is a different class I hope this fight goes ahead and there are odds on it

Witter has been out for a substantial amount of time. This is probably Hatton's best chance at beating him!

Let's hope it happens!

Hatton should fight Kell Brook or Michael Jennings. Nothing else means anything whilst he's European Champion.
