No way Appleby should get decision or even a share. Simon Phoenix won this comfortably.

Split decision 115-113 Appleby, 116-112 Laryea and 117-111 Laryea.

115 -113 Appleby, that judge should be fvcking shot. Terrible, terrible judging, shouldn't be allowed out of Hungary again. That was downright bent.

Justice done by the other two thankfully.

Who cares about the colour of the corner? What a crap way to announce the winner.

The Hungarian judge is the proud recipient of the Tillemann award tonight.

There goes allegedly's plans for Appleby - Burns, at least for some time. Burns - Laryea maybe?

I have lost even more respect for Appleby. Didn't really like him before the fight, now I hate him.

Appleby should go back to Feather. Looks a little too comfortable physique wise at super-feather. Kidding himself on if he thinks he won it. Sounds very bitter but was never at the races.
The right man won. Think Appleby perhaps wasn't the prospect we thought he was. It will be a long road back.

If he couldn't get past Laryea's jab, he would have got popped all night by Burns. Hope he sticks in and comes back from this, but it'll be a long road.

He's a terrible MC, isn't he? Kills all the tension. Someone tell him you are supposed to read out the winning score first, then give the name after

Laryea isn't actually that good. Appleby was just plain terrible tonight. think Burns-Laryea would be a total mismatch. So good chance that Franko will make it then. :OhYes:

I had it 115-113 Laryea, Appelby couldn't deal with the jab at all! Poor performance hopefully he comes again

I would be really surprised if Laryea didn't go in with Walsh for the Conmonwealth next!

Walsh looked vulnerable in his headlining fight the other month I thought.
