Merchante's scorecard for the 1st Ali-Frazier fight 8-6-1

I am virtually certain that Arthur Merchante's scorecard for the first Ali-Frazier fight was 8-6-1, not 8-6 as listed in Boxrec.

That is, 8 rounds for Frazier, 6 rounds for Ali, and one round even. Remember, this was before the 10-point must system and you either won a round, lost it or it was even. 8-6 does not add up to 15. It adds up to 14. Someone at Boxrec probably accidentally dropped off the even round.

I listened to a round by round description the fight live and have been walking around for the past 39 years quoting the scores of the 3 officials.

BoxRec is set up for the 10 point system and doesn't
have a system for showing even rounds. 8-6-1
My guess is the editor entered the next best thing.
