Tom Doran had a tough match; he showed off his usual dazzling skills but took too many big punches in my opinion. His determination paid off with the deserved narrow points victory.
Joe Lovell was pure class in his pro debut. Great to see a local youngster with such outstanding skills. He looked dangerous throughout. A definite talent for the future.
Thought Rocky Chakir was very unlucky not to get the decision over Omar Gumati. He repeatedly troubled Omar with big shots, and never took a backward step. Omar was certainly the more skilled boxer, and put together some impressive combinations, but they had little impact on Chakir and never troubled him.

Great to see Pro Boxing getting a stage in Chester!

Macho....Chris has been doing Uni work and had no wish to do the job half arsed as you can end up getting hurt! Not sure how far he can go, he does have lovely skills but despite the record is still a work in progress...the next year will give us more evidence!

    Hooky...lift away!!! :-)
