Baloyi doesn't mind travelling either, he has been over to the U.K a few times including a trip to Glasgow when he bet Brian Carr.

Its not going to happen, but I want to see Burns vs Foster Jnr.... or if Johansson is back to somewhere near his best. Johansson doesn't deserve it I know, but their fight was a thriller.

I think he can beat anyone at 130 except Jorge Linares. He's the top man, he has star power. He got stopped by Salgado which was stunning so perhaps if you can find his chin he's beatable but Ricky's not a puncher and i don't think he could outbox Linares.

I'd say go for Joseph Laryea, Stephen Foster Jnr & Terdsak Kokietgym who's his mandatory. All are good fights and winnable and he could make very good money with them.

Laryea would be a kind of revenge for the Appleby fight, Foster would be a good solid match up, that's all the more interesting after Foster won last time out impressively by KO, it was also his career best win & as i say Terdsak is his mandatory.

back to reality

28year old ricky burns is sobbing at fighting 3 times a year in the post fight interview hows he gonna fit all this in
I don't know if you bothered to read my post before making a smart arsed response.

the first paragraph listed 3 possibilities for a first domestic defense, arthur OR foster OR cook. i never mentioned a time frame, simply the next opponent. say he maybe takes that fight next april after a nice rest.

second paragraph mentioned the mandatory challenger he has to face after that, again no time frame. so he could take that later in the year. say maybe october,

the third paragraph is about the fact that, if i were rickys team i'd like him to leave any big names in the division till after he gets those previous 2 defenses under his belt (i mentioned 3 defenses but that includes the one he just had) i mentioned the fact that at this point he'd have OVER a year with the belt (which he won this september).

I fail to see how any of this implied a hectic schedule of fights.

I hope this clears things up for you.
sorry babe i didnt think you were so sensitive< how do you think he will fare against them ? personally i would like to see him avenge the arthur defeat even tho AA might have to saw an arm off to get down in weight
I reckon ricky beats any of arthur/foster/cook. as a scotsman i'd most like to see him take arthur next, even though it would probably be the biggest mismatch out of the 3. give ricky a nice easy next defense.

I don't know much about no1 rated Terdsak Jandaeng, but he's fairly highly rated in the division and looking at his record, who he's fought and the length of time he's been at the top level he could be a huge challenge.
but i'm of the opinion that ricky has already beaten the best in the division in martinez and that he has really raised his game since reaching world level so he has a good chance against anyone.
if he can keep the belt boyond the mandatory, as i said i'd love to take on the very best in the division and believe he has a very good chance against any of the top names.

I just don't think anyone should say the super featherweight division is a weak one as i think there are 3 or 4 really good, really tough fights in the division for him
