That's one of the worst lists I've ever seen. But this site has horrendous ratings in every area.

It's just a mathematical formula. These throw up odd results but they are interesting as long as you don't pay them too much mind.
How would we go about trying to define greatness by some algorithm?

Only 3 definite top 10 Heavyweights and one (Liston) who is borderline. I don't even know how you could create a formula that places Johansson above Holmes for example.BarryWashington wrote:I want to discuss this:
I went into the BoxRec database and made a list (according to the site's calculations) as to who would be the best heavyweights at their absolute peak
The list:
1: Rocky Marciano
2: Joe Louis
3: Muhammad Ali
4: Floyd Patterson
5: Jimmy Bivins
6: Max Baer
7: Ezzard Charles
8: Max Schmeling
9: Ignemar Johansson
10: Sonny Liston
Your thoughts?

100%, & as stated, it's pervasive through whatever retarded ranking system the site uses. Even the dumbest of trolls would struggle to come up with such an imaginatively dim-witted list as the one above.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:That's one of the worst lists I've ever seen. How did you choose each fighter's absolute peak?
