Wonder if the Wlad-Chisora preview they planned is a bit useless now?

Not the only fight happening though is it?

How about a 30 minute show previewing the remainder of events?

If they planned for it to be a Wlad-Del episode - my Sky Plus tells me they did - they couldnt change it all overnight for filming this morning. Not really feasible. Plus it would mean Sky - in effect if not intent - advertising the fact their ppv has been decimated

It was meant to be another one of those Behind the Ropes programmes. It's been bumped back to tomorrow, presumably so they can edit out all the wlad v Chisora build up, and fill it in with other footage.

i like the way sky sports news now is concentrating on pushing smith-de gale as a clash of judgement day proportions having partially ignored it when chisora-wlad was on!

There was supposed to be Behind The Ropes, a large part of which was on Chisora-Wlad. With Sky boxing team spread between Las Vegas, Liverpool and Mannheim, no time to get another show done.

Ed Robinson told me that they will be using a lot of the material for the planned Behind The Ropes in tonight's preview show. Those BTR shows are pretty elaborate productions, as you will know if you saw the first one. It seems that they already had one major re-edit on their hands when Clev's opponent changed, then when Wlad pulled out the whole programme would have needed doing again and they didn't have time. Gutted for Ed, who writes the BTRs. He was putting in 20 hour days to get this edition ready, then it all comes to nothing. I suppose with Adam Smith in Vegas for Khan, they didn't have the option of changing to a normal Ringside show at the last minute, either. Shame.
