Brook vs Kotey *spoiler*

Post by whiskey »

Brook looks awesome.

Had him down in first round, excellent selection of shots. Kotey shaken up as he sits back on stool.

Round 2 - Brook all over him, fast hard shots and looking different class.

Ref stops it.

Could do with a stateside "name" on his record before going in with top boys. Recomend that Alfonso Gomez contender fella if he's still at welter.

Just well out of his depth mate. Daft as it sounds but plenty would have actually folded earlier after tasting a right hand flush like that.

Absolutely awful match - but I do believe Brook will do that to much better opposition.

But we all knew he was out of his depth before it happened. Not his fault of course, but Brook might as well not have fought tonight. He's a talented kid who should be fighting much better opposition.

Brook is awesome, but there is a good reason why BET365 had him 100/1-on to win.

The post fight interview with Franklyn appeared to suggest Brook will not be moved up in class just yet. What does he know that we don't?

his bank balance?

joking aside, kell is now ready to beat any welter out there with the exceptions of Mosley, PBF and Pacman. I think he beats Jones, Cotto Berto, Alvarez - even Matt Hatton.

I'm not basing this on last night's performance - just the culmination of his talent and maturity combining to make him something close to what he can be. His potential has never been in doubt but now he really does train like a demon, live the right way and listen to his trainers.

i really hope FW does dip into his pocket and fetch over the best opponent he can manage because in my personal opinion, Kell is ready.

Great performance from Brook, although I'm unsure on the standard of the oppo due to being a late replacement, but Brook can only beat what's in front of him and he done it in emphatic fashion. He picked his punches and took him apart

Kell badly needs a step up in his next contest
