7-0 V 5-0
Re: 7-0 V 5-0
Caparello, based on his win over Casey.
Re: 7-0 V 5-0

Moderators should've ditched all the shite yonks ago
Re: 7-0 V 5-0
So who really won, McConville or Caperello?
McConville now has 7 wins, no loss's and 5 draws, unbelievable, can anyone ever remember a fighter that went undefeated in his first 12 fights but had 5 draws?

Brad might be able to give us a rundown of the fight when he gets the chance. He was there supervising the Yannick fight.Hounddawg wrote:So who really won, McConville or Caperello?

Just going on oppinions from another forum, they are claiming Blake landed the cleaner shots and scored a kd in the last round. But i'll be keen to talk to Nick and get his take on the fight. 2 sides to every story.

Judges do some funny things.
Re: 7-0 V 5-0
A bloke who posts here had 4 draws in 8 fights. Two win, two losses and four draws.Hounddawg wrote:So who really won, McConville or Caperello?

its easy to get draws in 4 rounders though, 2 rounds a piece.Brute wrote:Hounddawg wrote:So who really won, McConville or Caperello?

should have 5 rounders to avoid this
Re: 7-0 V 5-0
draws would happen whatever rounds are fought, very unusual record. movin forward, what bout casey verses mconville that would be a good stoush

but there would be a lot less with odd numbers of rounds...... obviously.
dumb reply mate.
this is exactly the reason why the ufc do 3 and5 round fights.
Re: 7-0 V 5-0
Not sure I agree with that logic Adam
Might reduce them in 3 & 5's but not beyond that.
WBA regional affiliates introduced 11 rounds @ one of WBA conventions (piss-ups), but most have since ditched the idea.

Re: 7-0 V 5-0
I was alluding to the fact that maybe he's been stooged a couple of times, like the Wade Foley fight, and even tho it was close McConville defiantly beat Awad.
So the reason i asked is the guy can't, well at least it seems that way to be able to get a break.
The bloke can fight, just doesn't have power as yet, which might not serve him well in the future.
