Ouma v Karamazin

Post by Shirow »

Just read that Karamazin is the mandatory and just the venue and date are to be confirmed.

I'm glad that Roman is getting a chance at the big time when he could so easily be avoided (and looked like he was being).

I've only seen him taking apart David Walker and was impressed but in all honesty he wasn't up against much, i see he got a MD win over Keith Holmes since. Anyone seen that?

Ouma was very impressive in his last but i've only seen him 3 times too.

How do the better informed than me see this going.

Hopefully we'll get to see the other Brit basher - Sergio Martinez in the title mix as well.

Good solid fight, Karmazin is underrated and Ouma is on a roll right now...let's hope this good fight happens.

Yes, good fight. People are putting Ouma in the Winky Wright / Oscar De La Hoya bracket of champion - I think it is a little early to put him there yet.

I appreciate Verno Phillips is a damn fine fighter who was on a good run, but would anybody seriously suggest he could have beaten Winky or DLH - he came pretty close twice to beating Ouma.

He was mighty impressive vs Jantuah, but I was dissapointed with Kofi.

I'd say this is the hottest match in the lightmiddle weight division right now. I'm an admirer of both.

Let's point our mat's to the west and pray one the TV channels picks up this potential sizzler.
