Both guys looking very impressive with neither one looking particularly drained. Maidana in particular looks to be in very good shape and appears to have made the weight comfortably. The height difference isn't what it was made to be either. There's not a lot between them.

If I was a betting man though, I'd have my money on Maidana being stopped around the 8th. If Ortiz had Maidana down 3 times then maybe Khan should be able to see him off. We'll see, anyway.

Amir is 5'10 and Maindana is 5'9, speed vs power is their arsenals in the ring ;)

My predictions: I see Khan winning by a decision and Maidana by way of KO in the 7th Round
Re: Khan 140 Maidana 139
Khan by landslide decision or late TKO.

I see a demolishing job by Khan beating MM up for 12 hard rounds using speed, lateral movement and combo's. I really don't think MM has the foot speed to cut the ring off. MM has a leaky defence and can't fight going back

Apparently 3.40 but I doubt it will be that early but here's hoping!
Re: Khan 140 Maidana 139
Maidana was apparently 5'7" although he's listed on Boxrec as 5'9". 5'7" is probably closer to he's genuine height as most of the listed heights for boxers are bullsh*t. Khan's supposedly shorter than 5'10" as well. I saw him on question of sport ages ago and he looked tiny. 5'10" is average size, yet he looked a total shrimp.nuclearfist78 wrote:Amir is 5'10 and Maindana is 5'9, speed vs power is their arsenals in the ring ;)
The thing that impressed me most about Maidana was his ability to cut off the ring. Khn just couldn't get away from the bastard. He was always in his face.alexpaterson wrote:I see a demolishing job by Khan beating MM up for 12 hard rounds using speed, lateral movement and combo's.
