Good fight, if Judah has anything left his speed should present a new problem for Khan to solve.

Imagine if they land simultaneously and both do the crazy leg dance...

Khan's getting him at just the right time - Amir will win this by UD and set things up nicely for a showdown with PBF later in the year.

Good match for Khan IMO. Zab's got vast experience, sort of fight Khan's booked to win but might be able to learn something from.

It's a shit fight if you ask me.

Zab is done. He last beat a good opponent (legitimately) when?

He quit like a girl against Clottey, and got a gift against Matthysse.

It's not a fight that proves anything about Amir, I'd look at someone like Ortiz.... he's being hyped and isn't that good - let him take some of the credit rather than beating up an old man.

Amir Khan's next challenger is likely to be Zab Judah, the brash American southpaw who is trying his luck at light-welterweight again after a losing run at welterweight in recent years.
Khan, the WBA light-welterweight champion, gained the full respect of British boxing fans on Saturday night with his exciting decision over Argentine puncher Marcis Maidana in Las Vegas, proving once and for all that his chin, while not in the league of Marvin Hagler's, is hardly as bad as it looked two years ago when a Colombian smashed him inside a minute. Khan may have been caught cold that night.
In Judah, he faces a man with experience, speed, skill and a decent dig, but it must hurt the 33-year-old New Yorker, a pro since 1996, to boil down to 140 pounds. Judah faded alarmingly in the closing rounds of his 12-rounder with Argentina's Lucas Matthysse last time out, hanging on for a split decision to secure the crack at Khan. It was his first time Judah had made light-welterweight since 2003, after which he ran into the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Carlos Baldomir, Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey up at welterweight, all of whom must have taken something out of him.
The younger, fresher, much-improved Khan looks too much.

I think its quite a dangerous fight for khan actually,Judah at this stage of his career is high risk and quite low reward!Alot of fight fans see him as damaged goods after the cotto loss and the clottey fight, etc.I imagine he'll be very up for this fight aswell with it being for a world title and knowing that khans got alot of fanfare at the mo.I dont think this is as one sided as people think it is.I'd expect khan to win but i think it could be interesting atleast for a little while.

khan is used to sparring the best southpaw in the world, with arguably more power and speed than Judah. I don't think this will be a difficult fight for Amir. Zab will lose interest around the half way mark. This isn't the same Judah that boxed Mayweather, Cotto etc.

You say the best southpaw in the world in pacquaio and you're right but manny is a more aggressive fighter whereby Zab is more of a counter-puncher and will wait for mistakes so i dont think you can judge it on that.Regarding speed i think there isnt much to choose between the two of them in all honesty.

Khan will stop him in the mid-to-late rounds.

Don't see the point of this from Khan's point of view. Judah is well past his best and if he wins it's a case of so what after beating someone like Miadana. Judah can still punch, so it's very much a high risk low reward fight.

I think he will have a good break now, that last fight will have taken it out of him and he will fight the winner of Bradley Alexander. If he wins that, he can move on to 147 having cleaned up at 140 like he said he wanted to do.

No way will he fight Judah!

On the face of it and good match for Khan, but a dangerous one too. Is Zab even faster than Khan? Could be he is. First couple of rounds will be risky for Khan, as Zab starts like a freight train and he can really crack with those left hooks.

Its a fantastic fight. Judah looks done but still hasn't lost at 140 since Tszyu, and bar Hatton is the biggest name (more money) fight at 140.

I don't think it is a forgone conclusion - got to really favour Khan heavily. But I think it is an authentic match up and the real money spinner at the devision.

I've always liked Judah think he could cause Amir problems if his speed is up to scratch and he can punch like so I'm very excited for this one

I will never bet on zab judah again.
that is what i learned from his last fight.

will eb close in teh frist 4 rounds, after that khan should raise teh leevl and judah to fade and probably get stopped or sabotage the fight.

zab needs to stop khan early otherwise take a prolonged beating.
khan chin should hold up to judahs power and khan doesnt make the kind of mistakes that judah can take advantage off at this stage of both theri careers. so it seems anyway.

Judah is well past it.
They probably thought maidana was going to be an easier task than he was as he is slow on his feet but Judah is a step down from him.
This is a backwards step from the khan camp :verysad:

This is a good fight after such a brutal one for Khan. Judah pisses me off, but I think he's going to be dangerous for the first three rounds. Judah carries a bit of power and some speed, a completely different challenge for Khan, and Judah's been in with the best, so, IMO, it's not such a forgone conclusion.

Judah is well past his prime but still dangerous. He must offer more than the hapless Dmitriy Salita or Mallinaggi.

Considering Khan's last fight this is not too bad at all. Certainly better than anything Warren would have come up with. Let's face it, if Khan was still with SN we'd still be getting the usual crap about Maidana wanting too much money etc.

Judah might not be better than Maidana, but he is still a good fighter. Khan doesn't have to continually fight better and better opposition.

It will be one of Khan's best opponents to date, so it doesn't seem like a bad fight to me.

No it isn't. You can't fight top tier fighters every single fight. He just beat number 4 in the division 1 and 2 are fighting in January. This is a good making time fight, will present challenges but won't take too much out of him. Khan is only 24 his career is being managed just right at this point.
