Fight Night 3

Post by The Gaffer »

If you thought Fight Night 2 was good, wait for this:

Fight Night PS3

Image

"EA have today announced that they intend to bring Fight Night 3 to the Playstation 3 when it is launched next year.

They have also included an image of the game that looks very detailed, especially considering how close up the screenshot is.

EA have only announced that Fight Night 3 will be coming to the Playstation 3, but we do suspect it will see a release on the Xbox 360, and Revolution."

Also go to this link:

http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/sports/figh ... kingtitle/

and click on 'game demonstration.' You can see a presentation from the E3 Games Convention - skip about a minute into it and there's demos of the action. The graphics are INCREDIBLE.

Enjoy :TU:

Great graphics, but the cut sequence type graphics were pretty good on PS2 but never as good in the actual game. The actual final game graphics wont look as good as that.

I felt quite let down by Fight Night Round 2 on the XBOX. I destroyed the whole game in a day. Still, each game seems to be an improvement on the last - so no doubt this new one will be pretty good. :box:

I remember being an eager 11/12 year old waiting for my new copy (tape) of Barry Mcuigans boxing to drop through the letterbox.

For the time it was great, building up your career etc, what they got out of that little 48k Spectrum was remarkable....

I could never get past Shamrock O'Leary.

The music that accompanied another O'Leary victory still haunts me.

The time it took from pressing the keys on your spectrum to the shot actually being thrown would have been quite realistic if you were playing as Matt Skelton! ;)

You also had Frank Bruno's boxing, where you were kind of facing your opponent instead of the side-on view.

You can even get a java version these days to play on your mobile, amazing really you would have never thought it back then.

Has anybody played allegedly Boxing for the PS3? It's good, you build up on imports for 30 levels and then get a WBU shot on the final level...it's great fun :box:
