I have a fax of a fight missing in the records of Nestor Rocha and Urbano Antillon. Do you have a number I can fax this to? There's also one problem... it's in Japanese, and I can't translate it. Please advise. Thanks.

I had somebody translate it... Problem is I couldn't find the opponent's name in the database. I'm SURE if Joe Koizumi talked to Tsuyoshi Watanabe (the one who faxed it) their records would be complete. The fax reads:

Nestor Rocha vs Minoru Hiraishi, scheduled for 6 at 52.2kg, Rocha won at 2:18 of round 4 by TKO

Urbano Antillon vs Kirichi Nobuya, scheduled for 6 at 58.0kg, Antillon won at 1:33 of round 1 by KO

Is this enough to update their records?

The boxers are not entered in our base and I can't find a scrap on either one of them on the web. Are there dates and locations with the information?

Urbano Antillon's fight was on the undercard of Takenori Hatakeyama on February 17, 2001. I do not know off hand what the date of Nestor's fight was. He doesn't remember either. Do you guys correspond with Joe Koizumi? I can try to scan the fax as I mentioned, but it is pretty illegible...

We do have the Hatakeyama bout with one other on that card. I will enter the Antillon bout with a disclaimer and hope to get more info on the Rocha fight.

I was able to clarify the information on the fax. The information should be as follows:

Nestor Rocha: Fought Minoru Masuda in Yokohama Japan on 9-1-01. Fight was scheduled for 6 but ended with a TKO for Rocha at 2:18 of the 4th. The weight for the fight was 52.2kg.

Urbano Antillon: Opponent is listed as Nobuya Kiuchi. I've been told that his record is 13-12-2, 5ko's. His last fight was 12-3-2001 against Nakata Noriya and lost by TKO in the 6th. You have Urbano's fight listed as unconfirmed. The date (2-17-01) and weight (58kg) are the same.
